No One Succeeds Alone. I Didn’t.
You Won’t Have To Either.
I became a Realtor and Mortgage Broker for one reason: to help Bay Area families achieve generational wealth and escape the two-tier economy I grew up witnessing as a San Jose native.
My path here taught me lessons most agents never learn.
After dropping out of high school and earning my GED, I worked as a personal banker at Wells Fargo in San Jose, CA for three years before transitioning into tech sales. One day, while helping a young couple in Willow Glen qualify for a home loan, I watched them realize they could actually own a home in their neighborhood. That spark in their eyes changed everything for me.
That conversation changed everything.
At 28, I was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. The first oncologist gave me nine months. A month earlier, one of my nurses had pulled me aside after my first surgery: ‘If you don’t like what you hear, get a second opinion.’
Best advice I ever received. The second hospital had a fairly new FDA-approved surgery the first didn’t offer. I chose the surgery. Today, I’m cancer-free.
That experience taught me something crucial: question assumptions, seek alternatives, make data-driven decisions. It’s the same approach I bring to every real estate transaction.
During chemotherapy, I remembered that Willow Glen couple and enrolled at West Valley College to study economics and political science. I was named President’s Scholar for re-entry students. My work ethic and academic performance earned me admission to UC Berkeley, where I completed my degree in Economics.
Here’s the thing: I almost didn’t apply. My economics professor, Dr. Samuel Liu, saw something in me I didn’t see in myself. He pushed me to apply despite my doubts about being “worthy.”
A couple’s story inspired me. A nurse’s advice saved my life. A professor’s encouragement opened doors. I’m here because people helped me—and now helping others is what I do.
After a frustrating experience with a loan officer when I bought my first home (despite already being a licensed real estate agent), I got my mortgage license in 2020. My Wells Fargo background made the transition natural, and now I can manage both sides of the transaction for my clients.
With my UC Berkeley economics degree, data science training, and 20+ years of sales experience across multiple industries, I don’t just sell homes—I analyze markets, negotiate strategically, and execute with precision.
